And we're off......

We have just left Melbourne and are now headed to Orange to meet up with Grover, the Duke Boys and maybe some other shitboxes... if they make it.. Good luck everyone.

Beer Raffle Draw - 7pm EST

Tune in tonight from 7pm Melbourne time to watch the draw. Oh yes.

Win lots of beer

Thanks to the good people at Moritz Beer for this. They have donated TEN cartons of their fine Spanish beer, five of which we will be auctioning off along with the car in Darwin on the 27th of May and the other five we are raffling off right now. $5 per ticket, or six tickets for $20. You have until Monday 16 May to enter, so hit up the following link at: www.everydayhero.com.au/rundmc and write Moritz Raffle and your name in the comments to enter.

Awesome.

THANK YOU

A big thanks to all who came along to the Shitbox Rally Fundraiser at the Richmond Bowls Club. We pretty much filled the room with quiz brains and made around $1,600. Thanks again to our MC, the wonderful Tim Ferguson and if you didn't take home a prize on the night, stay tuned to this blog and our facebook announcements for more competitions and prizes.

Highlights from the 2010 Shitbox Rally

Here's a video I cut together from stuff I filmed during last year's Shitbox Rally, from Sydney to Alice Springs.

Enjoy.

Where we're going, we don't need roads

Ok.. We've got 4 months to raise $5,000 for the Cancer Council, find a car for under $1,000 that'll drive over 7,000kms in 2 weeks, make said car into something that resembles the Delorean from Back to the Future, find costumes, and also maintain a normal life.

Sure. It can be done, but we might need an actual time machine to do it.

Back to the shitbox

Hey gang.. It's early days right now, but this blog is where all the action will be.

Follow us as we build the car, raise the funds and live the dream.
